• Injury data, recovery logs, and training journal entries recorded through The RunnDown
• Race goals, marathon history, and performance metrics

Some of this data may be considered sensitive health or fitness information under certain jurisdictions. We treat all health-related data with heightened care and security measures.

c) Location Data

• GPS and geolocation data when you use features such as CheerZones, Runners Forecast, or event mapping
• Race locations and travel plans recorded through Runn-Passport
• Location data is collected only when you actively use location-based features and can be disabled through your device settings

d) Community and Social Data

• Interactions with other users within the community, including comments, posts, likes, forum activity, and private messages
• Group memberships, event RSVPs, and community participation history

e) Technical and Device Information

• IP address, browser type, device identifiers, and operating system
• Information about your interactions with the Services (e.g., pages visited, time spent, features used)
• Progressive Web App (PWA) data, including push notification preferences, offline storage data, and device permissions

f) Payment Information

If you purchase products, services, memberships, or event tickets via NXTRUNN, we may collect payment information such as billing address and transaction details. g) Third-Party and Automated Data

• Information collected when you link third-party services to NXTRUNN, such as social media accounts
• Data collected through automated marketing tools (such as ManyChat) when you interact with our social media channels or automated messaging flows

• Provide, improve, and customize our Services, including community features, event tools, and personalized content
• Facilitate community engagement, events, and platform functionality

• Support event management operations for partner organizations

a) With Service Providers

We may share information with trusted third-party vendors who assist us with operations like hosting, analytics, payment processing (Stripe), email marketing, automated messaging (ManyChat), or customer support. They are contractually obligated to keep your data secure and use it only for the services they provide to us.

b) With Event Partners

When you register for events managed through NXTRUNN on behalf of partner organizations (such as Black Unicorn Marathoners or other event organizers), your registration data is shared with and owned by the event organizer. NXTRUNN acts as a data processor for event-specific data under a Data Processing Agreement with each partner. The event organizer is the data controller for registration information and is responsible for their own privacy practices regarding that data.

c) Within the NXTRUNN Community

Your profile information, posts, and public activity may be visible to other community members. Private messages are visible only to the participants in the conversation. You can control your profile visibility through your account settings.

d) For Legal Compliance

We may disclose information when required to comply with laws, regulations, legal processes, or government requests.

e) Business Transfers

In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of the transaction. We will notify users of any such change in ownership or control of personal information.

4. Your Rights and Choices

You have the following rights regarding your personal information:

Access and Update: You can access or update your profile and personal details through your account settings.

Data Deletion: You may request that we delete your account or personal information, subject to legal obligations. Note that if you registered for an event through NXTRUNN, the event organizer may retain your registration data independently.

Data Portability: You may request a copy of your personal data, including run logs, journal entries, and profile information, in a commonly used format.

Opt-Out of Marketing: You can unsubscribe from marketing emails, push notifications, or automated messaging at any time via your account settings or by following the unsubscribe instructions in any communication.

Location Data: You can disable location-based features through your device settings at any time.

Cookies and Tracking: Manage your preferences for cookies and tracking technologies through your browser settings.

5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Health and fitness data, location data, and payment information receive additional security protections appropriate to their sensitive nature.

We retain your personal information as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy or comply with legal obligations. If you delete your account, we will securely erase your data except where retention is legally required.

Event registration data processed on behalf of partner organizations is retained and deleted in accordance with our Data Processing Agreements with those partners.

8. Data Processing for Event Partners

NXTRUNN provides event management and registration services for partner organizations. In this capacity:

• The event organizer is the Data Controller for registration data collected on their behalf
• NXTRUNN acts as a Data Processor, handling this data according to the instructions and agreements with each event partner
• Event partners are responsible for their own privacy policies governing how they use registrant data
• If you have questions about how an event organizer uses your registration data, please contact the organizer directly
• Data Processing Agreements govern the security, use, and deletion of all data processed on behalf of partners

9. State-Specific Privacy Rights

California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act and California Privacy Rights Act:

• The right to know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose
