Community Guidelines & Acceptable Use Policy

What's combined & why. This document merges Community Guidelines (the behavior standards for our community) and the Acceptable Use Policy (the binding rules on how the platform and its systems may be used). They're combined because they enforce the same line from two angles, and our moderation tools (reporting, blocking, content removal) apply to both. These Guidelines are incorporated into, and enforced under, the Consumer Terms of Service and the Partner / Business Terms.

1. Our community standard

NXTRUNN is built for the running movement. NXTRUNN is an 18+, adults-only community. Treat other members — runners, clubs, coaches, businesses, and organizers — with respect. These Guidelines apply to everything you post, share, send, or do on the platform.

2. Be 18+

You must be at least 18 years old to use NXTRUNN. Don't help anyone under 18 access the platform, and don't share content that sexualizes or targets minors. We remove such content and report it to authorities where required.

3. What's not allowed (prohibited content & conduct)

Do not post, upload, or do any of the following:

• Harassment & hate — bullying, threats, stalking, or attacks based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, or other protected characteristics.
• Violence & danger — threats of violence, incitement, or promotion of self-harm or dangerous activities.
• Sexual & explicit content — pornography, sexual exploitation, or any content sexualizing minors (zero tolerance).
• Illegal activity — anything unlawful, including the sale of illegal goods/services, or content that facilitates it.
• Fraud & deception — scams, fake listings, impersonation, misrepresenting who you are or who you represent, or fake reviews/engagement.
• Spam & manipulation — unsolicited promotion, bulk/automated posting, vote/engagement manipulation, or SEO spam.
• IP infringement — content that infringes copyrights, trademarks, or other rights you don't own (see the DMCA/Copyright Policy).
• Privacy violations — posting others' private or personal information ("doxxing"), or sharing someone's precise location without consent.
• Misinformation that causes harm — dangerous health/safety misinformation. (NXTRUNN content is informational only and is not medical or professional advice — see the Disclaimer.)
• Malware & abuse of systems — see the Acceptable Use rules in §6.

4. Reviews, listings & reports (integrity)

• Reviews of Run Spaces and coaches must reflect genuine, first-hand experience. No fake, incentivized-without-disclosure, or retaliatory reviews. Businesses may not post reviews of themselves or pay for fake reviews.
• [Portal] Listings & events must be accurate. Don't misrepresent ownership, pricing, dates, refunds, safety, or affiliation.
• Reporting: use the in-product report tools to flag violations. We review reports and may remove content, label it, or act on accounts. Don't abuse reporting (mass/false reports).

5. Health, injury & safety content

You may share running, training, injury-recovery, and race experiences. This is peer/community content, not professional advice. Don't present yourself as a licensed medical, healthcare, legal, or financial professional unless you genuinely are and are authorized to do so. Coaches and professionals on the Portal must accurately represent their credentials. See the Disclaimer.

6. Acceptable Use of the platform and systems

You agree not to:

• access or use the platform other than through our provided interfaces/APIs;
• scrape, crawl, harvest, or bulk-download data, including other users' personal data or content, except as expressly permitted;
• circumvent, disable, or interfere with security, rate-limiting, authentication, age-gating, or payment controls;
• reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code, except where law permits;
• upload malware, or use the platform to attack, overload, or disrupt it or others (DoS, injection, credential stuffing, etc.);
• probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any system without our prior written authorization (see the Security Statement for responsible disclosure);
• use bots/automation to create accounts, post, manipulate metrics, or claim deals/passes/points fraudulently;
• abuse the rewards/points/credits economy (e.g., self-dealing, fake check-ins, fraudulent claims);
• resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the platform or others' content without authorization;
• use the platform to send spam or unlawful communications.

7. Enforcement

We may, with or without notice depending on severity: remove or restrict content; label or downrank content; limit features; suspend or terminate accounts; reverse fraudulent points/credits/payouts; and report unlawful activity to authorities. Serious or repeated violations, fraud, or safety risks can result in immediate, permanent removal. We aim to apply these rules consistently and proportionately.

8. Appeals

If you believe we acted in error, you may appeal to legal@nxtrunn.com. We will review appeals in good faith and, where the EU Digital Services Act applies to us, provide the statement of reasons and complaint-handling process it requires.

9. Changes

We may update these Guidelines and will revise the "Last updated" date. Continued use means you accept the current version.
