Content License & Media Release

What's combined & why. This document combines the Content License (the rights you grant NXTRUNN to host and display the content you post) with a Media Release (consent for photos/video captured at events and check-ins). Both govern rights in content and likeness on the platform. This License is incorporated into the Consumer Terms of Service and Partner / Business Terms.

1. You keep ownership of your content

You retain ownership of the content you create and upload to NXTRUNN — your runs and photos, posts, comments, reviews, race reports, profile information, and (for partners) listings, event pages, and media ("Your Content"). This document does not transfer ownership to us.

2. The license you grant NXTRUNN

To operate the platform, you grant NXTRUNN LLC a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to host, store, reproduce, adapt (for formatting/display), publish, publicly display, and distribute Your Content on and through the NXTRUNN platform and its features, solely as needed to:

• display Your Content to the audiences you choose (e.g., your followers, the public feed, a Run Space page, an event listing);
• operate features that depend on it (passport, check-ins, reviews, leaderboards, sharing);
• create digital passes (e.g., Apple/Google Wallet tickets) and notifications; and
• back up, cache, and transmit it via our subprocessors (e.g., Cloudflare R2 storage).

This license exists only to run the service. It ends when you delete Your Content or your account, except: (a) content already shared with others or incorporated into others' records may persist in anonymized form; (b) residual copies may remain in backups until the normal rotation purges them; and (c) we may retain copies as required by law (see the Data Retention & Deletion Policy).

3. Marketing & promotional use (separate consent)

We will not use Your Content for external advertising or marketing (outside the platform) without your separate consent, except for incidental, in-platform promotion of features. Where we ask for promotional consent (e.g., to feature your run or your business in NXTRUNN marketing), it will be opt-in and revocable.

4. Your promises about Your Content

You represent and warrant that:

• you own or have the rights to Your Content and to grant the license above;
• Your Content does not infringe any third party's IP, privacy, or publicity rights, and does not violate law or the Community Guidelines;
• if Your Content includes other identifiable people, you have their permission as required; and
• [Portal] any logos, brand assets, event names, or media you upload are ones you are authorized to use.

You are responsible for Your Content and for keeping your own copies; we are not a backup service.

5. Feedback

If you send us ideas, suggestions, or feedback about NXTRUNN, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free right to use them without obligation or compensation to you.

6. Media Release — events, check-ins & community features

By participating in NXTRUNN-organized or NXTRUNN-promoted activities, or by posting media that you capture at venues and events, you understand that:

• Content you make public (e.g., public posts, check-ins, reviews, race reports) may be visible to other users and, where you choose public sharing, to non-users.
• If you photograph or record others, you are responsible for any consents required from the people depicted.

Event organizers are responsible for obtaining any required photo/video releases from attendees at their events. NXTRUNN does not capture event media on organizers' behalf. Where NXTRUNN itself records or photographs an event it hosts, it will post notice and obtain consent as required by law.

7. Reviews & honesty

Reviews and ratings you post are Your Content and must be genuine (see the Community Guidelines). You grant NXTRUNN the license in §2 to display them, including alongside the reviewed Run Space or coach.

8. Removal

We may remove or restrict Your Content under the Community Guidelines, DMCA/Copyright Policy, or where required by law. You may remove Your Content at any time, subject to §2's carve-outs.

9. Changes & contact
